KOUBAR GARDEN TOWER
Caspian Sea, Mazandaran
The Koubar Garden project, located on the Caspian Sea coastline in Mazandaran, embodies a contemporary approach to coastal residential architecture, blending formal simplicity with spatial coherence. The interplay of vertical and horizontal volumes creates a visually dynamic composition that also serves the functional needs of the complex. The stepped massing of the tower not only enhances the visual identity of the building but also provides generous green terraces with uninterrupted sea views.
At the podium level, the design integrates soft curves and organic forms to establish a strong connection with the surrounding landscape and public realm. This contrast between the fluid lower levels and the more rigid vertical form above introduces a formal balance to the composition.
The use of tall palm trees in the visual corridors leading toward the sea evokes a Mediterranean coastal garden ambiance, reinforcing the project’s strong sense of place and enhancing its experiential quality.
